Bros Review

Is it a good gay romance? Yes. I took a date to the empty theater weekday matinee. I got laid afterwards. Zing pow!

Some parts resonated with us. Confused Love. Bobby says it's okay for him & Aaron to have a 4-way in Provincetown. Later Bobby says, No that didn't feel right.

The heartache of separation after an argument. How they complement each other. The smooth one likes the hairy one. One is shy while the other has a podcast. One is talkative while the other listens.

I didn't understand the steroid sub-plot. It seems to be a literary device, excuse for Bobby to go into a roid rage. As if love can't do that. And it makes me wonder if Aaron's actor is taking steroids in real life for his hot body.

"Maybe you're both bottoms & that's a problem." No, they're both versatile. Which is unrealistic.

The 3-month commitment was realistic. Lovers can walk away at anytime. My boyfriend & I are committed one date at a time. As hyperbole I say we will be in love forever.

You're only as good as your last performance. We've been together for 18 years with a few breakups & heartaches. We both have worked for this relationship. It pays off.

The final scene of the movie resonated the most with us. Bobby writes & performs a love song for Aaron. Bros is an excellent gay romance.

Makes me want to write another poem or lyrics of a love song.
