A poem a day keeps heartbreak away
Call it romance 
In love we stay

You're as sexy as you ever were
Hotter than I remember
I'm as in lust today as I ever was
Somehow fun turned into trust

Rhythm and rhyme is one technique
Flowers and wine cannot compete
Holding hands and bumping elbows
Sweet love-making sure to follow

Then a poem a song maybe a letter
So well we get along together 
A stroll through the park rejuvenates
Like a happy soul renovates

A poem a day keeps heartache away
Call it a song
In love we stay.
