It is a sad song. When the two of you meet, the relationship is casual. Just sex. Doesn't mean anything. 

Then it becomes serious. Strong passions outside of sex. Here comes marriage. Then casual again. Just going through the motions if making love at all.

Thousands of songs where only one party falls out of love. That's called heart--break. This song is doubly sad because both parties lose that loving feeling.

So what? This song is the opposite of my relationship right now. Sure the future will bring doubt and a bumpy road and shifting sand.

But in the summer of 2022 my love stands like a rock to share with my boyfriend. It's where we share a house of love and memories. There's nothing casual about our love. No reason to say goodbye.

I hope we never lose that loving feeling.
