Love Is A Cliche

Love is a cliché
You never get tired of
A phrase with sashay
You're never quite sure of

Pink rose in a glass vase
Necklace and a red dress
Black panties and a bra
You're my shining star

These words I say to you
Hackneyed but just as true
Worn out and overused
They all mean the same
I love you

Like the stars overhead
Roses in a flower bed
As the full moon rises
On a clear horizon

Your hand in my hand
Your peach my fruit stand
In vino veritas
Filled with love to the top

These words I say
All mean the same
I love you

Love is a cliché
You never get tired of
A phrase with sashay
You're never quite sure of.
